Information on accessibility
The University of Vienna is committed to providing accessible websites in accordance with the Austrian Web-Zugänglichkeits-Gesetz (WZG, web accessibility act) as amended to implement the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (Official Journal L 327 issued on 2 December 2016, p. 1).
This accessibility statement applies to the website under the domain reconnectchinagdpr.univie.ac.at.
Status of compliance with the requirements
The website is compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA.
Parts of the websites that are not fully accessible
From the last internal audit on 2026-03-09, no accessibility issues have been identified.
However, please note that the website is also under active development. Despite our best efforts to only add new features that are fully accessible and to appropriately test these new features for their conformance, we cannot completely rule the possibility of a change to the website to inadvertently introduce new accessibility issues. We guarantee that, once discovered, either by an internal audit or when a user notifies us, we will treat such an issue with high priority and fix it as soon as possible.
Release of this accessibility statement
The first version of this statement was released on 2026 March 9.
The next update to the statement is scheduled for mid-of-June 2027.
